CNC Maintenance Technician

#### CNC Maintenance Technician We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to support and maintain our fleet of CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and multi-axis equipment. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment uptime and performance. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, electrically competent, and capable of working independently to solve problems in a dynamic production setting.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machines
* Maintain and service CNC lathes, mills, and auxiliary shop equipment to minimize downtime
* Complete preventative maintenance routines and maintain accurate service records
* Inspect, repair, and replace critical machine components such as motors, ball screws, actuators, sensors, and valves
* Support machine alignment, calibration, and leveling activities as needed
* Read and interpret machine manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance requests
* Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized equipment support
* Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout, PPE, and electrical safety protocols
* Assist with new equipment installations and improvement projects
** Qualifications
* ** 3–5 years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
* Proficient with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
* Experience with CNC controls (Okuma, Haas, Fanuc) strongly preferred
* Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
* Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and documentation
* Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working independently and communicating across departments
* High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in maintenance or mechatronics is a plus
