Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and an active California Radiology License for an acute cardiac cath lab assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care setting within a combined Interventional Radiology, Cardiac, and Neuro Cath Lab
- Day shifts are 8 hours with variable start times
- Call is required one evening per week and every fourth weekend
- Utilizes Siemens and Phillips angio equipment
- Cerner is used for electronic charting
- Position includes responsibilities within both the cardiac and neuro/interventional radiology lab environments
- Orientation includes 12 hours at the start of the assignment
- Teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff are essential
- Dress code and scrubs requirements will be communicated during onboarding
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Active California Radiology License required if applicable
- Current BLS and Fluoroscopy certifications required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience using Siemens and Phillips angiography equipment is preferred
- Completion of mandatory modules averaging 6 hours prior to assignment
- Two professional references are required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years
