Bilingual Expedited Family Facilitator

The Bilingual Expedited Family Facilitator coordinates services and planning for children who are referred through social service, probation or mental health departments and are in the process of stepping down from institutional into family or family‑like settings. Services will be provided almost exclusively in the community in families homes, group homes, foster homes, schools, etc. The primary role is to ensure that all parties are working together toward stability for the child and family.

Wraparound Clinicians engage clients in meaningful and authentic relationships while providing a safe, predictable, and positive environment that aligns with our clients' values and cultures.

Wraparound/FURS are community‑based programs that serve at‑risk youth from ages 0‑21 throughout Ventura County. The Program Supervisor role works with a team of Facilitators/Clinicians, Parent Partners, and Youth Advocates to support the youth and their family. We do "whatever it takes" to help our community thrive. The Ventura County Wraparound and FURS Program's goal is to support children, youth, and their families with complex and enduring needs to reside in the least restrictive environment that is clinically appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Promptly meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to further treatment goals utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for the purpose of care planning and support.
  • Collaborate with agency staff, caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement individualized care plans, behavioral programs, and interventions.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers, as needed.
  • Complete assessment and evaluation process of clients in order to develop and implement the care plan.
  • Provide assistance in case planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, as well as casework issues, as appropriate.
  • Chart mental health notes, care plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain availability for crisis intervention services, such as on‑call rotation, if applicable.
  • Participate in individual and/or group supervision.
  • Attend all required trainings.
  • Comply with all child abuse reporting and Medicaid/Medi‑Cal requirements in accordance with standards set by Seneca.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in social work/psychology/counseling.
  • Eligible to register/registered with CA BBS.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies insurance policy.
Preferred
  • Experience working with children in out‑of‑home care.

  • Good organizational and writing skills.
Schedule
  • Full‑time
  • Monday – Friday; client driven schedule.
  • One 24 hour on call shift per week
  • Hybrid; provide in‑person services & complete documentation remote.

  • Starting at $77,507 to $91,507 per year.
    • Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications.
    • Additional $4,000 salary increase for BBS licensure.
