Job Overview

Respiratory Account Executive at Super Care Health (USA). This outside sales representative calls physicians, hospitals and post‑acute providers in a specific territory to drive patient referrals for respiratory equipment and supplies.

Location and Salary

Oxnard, CA – $129,000–$206,000 (USD) – 1 day ago

Responsibilities
  • Execute strategic planning and selling to referral sources, including pre‑call planning, probing questions, benefit presentation and closing.
  • Become an expert on core respiratory products: ventilators, vests, oxygen, BiPAP, CPAP and related equipment and supplies.
  • Meet monthly sales goals and quotas to maximize commission and drive revenue.
  • Identify and evaluate top referral sources (hospitals, home health agencies, physicians) and call on those sources to increase patient referrals.
  • Call at least 8–10 referral sources per day, establishing relationships, setting up in‑services and seeking patient referrals.
  • Maintain excellent follow‑up skills, organization, communication, negotiation and listening skills.
  • Make presentations to physicians, home health agencies and hospitals regarding core products and services.
  • Complete all administrative duties: expense reports, weekly conference calls, emails, monthly sales meetings, billing documentation and follow‑up.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of the durable medical equipment (DME) and supply industry, apply training on health care industry trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the managed health care environment.
  • Allocate resources tailored to meet different customer needs, monitor performance of plans and make real‑time adjustments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the regional sales manager.
  • Adhere to all Super Care Health company policies.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited high school.
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or natural science.
  • 3–5 years experience in sales and marketing of home healthcare and/or post‑acute care.
  • Experience with Medicare, Medi‑Cal and other insurance regulations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, executive presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to interact diplomatically with internal and external personnel.
  • Outstanding analytical, sales and problem‑solving skills.
  • Recognize needs and concerns of people to build constructive working relationships.
  • Patient and caring behavior, positive attitude, genuine desire to help others and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Active participant in professional healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, leadership skills and ability to balance multiple priorities in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Strong computer skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, results‑driven, and able to work independently.
  • Rapid, accurate, efficient completion of daily tasks and assignments on schedule.
Physical Effort
  • Lifting and loading of equipment for deliveries and patient homes.
  • Minimum requirement: ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
