Fpa Team Lead
We're looking for an experienced FP&A Team Lead to build, scale, and strategically lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function s role requires a senior finance leader with strong business acumen, advanced analytical expertise, and a proven track record of managing and developing high‑performing teams.
As an FP&A leader, this person will operate with high autonomy, taking ownership of a complex function, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring cross‑departmental alignment with organizational objectives. They will guide their team through complex challenges, lead financial innovation, and serve as a key partner to executive leadership.
Strategic Fpa Leadership- Own and lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, long‑range planning, and strategic financial cycles.
- Deliver deep financial insights to influence key business decisions, investment strategies, and performance optimization.
- Ensure alignment between FP&A priorities and company goals, anticipating risks and identifying opportunities proactively.
- Lead small to medium teams, setting clear performance objectives, strategic priorities, and areas of accountability.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
- Oversee workforce planning, talent development, and hiring decisions with a long‑term strategic mindset.
- Promote idea‑sharing, cross‑team collaboration, and a culture of ownership and innovation.
- Take ownership of a complex area or platform, ensuring operational excellence and delivering expected business outcomes.
- Act proactively to address organizational, team, or workflow challenges, proposing long‑term solutions.
- Manage complex projects and high‑impact initiatives with minimal supervision, escalating only for specific strategic decisions.
- Build and review sophisticated financial models to support scenario analysis, valuation exercises, M&A activities, fundraising or strategic planning.
- Provide financial guidance for new product initiatives, partnerships, or business model changes.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial packages for senior leadership and board stakeholders.
- Translate complex financial information into clear insights for both financial and non‑financial leaders.
- Lead initiatives to improve FP&A processes, reporting accuracy, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to enhance data integrity and financial transparency.
- Monitor market trends, benchmarks, and competitor performance to inform strategic direction.
- Calibrate the impact of external changes, proposing strategic responses aligned with long‑term business goals.
