This full‑time, onsite Associate Financial Advisor provides support to the existing client base, working independently or with the Lead Advisor. The role may involve formulating and implementing advice and serving as a resource to Lead Advisor and clients in handling, researching, and communicating inquiries related to accounts and supporting daily operations of the practice.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain existing client relationships by processing client requests, resolving client questions, and ensuring client information and documentation are up to date.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to service and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Handle client contact to provide and obtain information, answer product‑related questions, and assist with transactions and service requests.
- Assist Lead Advisors in preparing and following up for client meetings.
- Update and maintain client information in planning tools, including Salesforce, Money Guide Pro, Morningstar, and others.
- Fill out and sign Variable Life/Variable Annuity/Mutual Fund/Brokerage applications as required.
- Complete electronic and paper service forms and new business applications.
- Accept and enter trade orders from clients, including unsolicited trade orders.
- Identify potential sales opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Partner with Financial Advisors to help close opportunities.
- Take notes as second chair in meetings.
- Handle all post‑meeting tasks.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor.

- Securities (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65) and resident state Life, Health and Annuities registration.
- Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.
- Previous financial services experience desirable, 3‑5 years preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 3+ years preferred.
- Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce) or ability to learn.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions.
- Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information.
- Must be able to work with all roles of the sponsoring financial advisor.
- Must be able to represent the organization in work with external clients.
- Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with outside organizations.
The package includes a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000, splits for new business as well as potential bonuses, participation in a Simple IRA plan with employer match and a medical stipend. Compensation is market and situation‑based.
