• Research, test, and select appropriate material systems and processes for volume production of a large UAS
• Validate material properties through simulation and testing
• Design processes for structural component build and full‑scale assembly
• Validate production processes through simulation and test
• Support the structures design team in design for manufacturability

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years working in a production environment building structures
• Generated materials properties data for composite systems
• Hands‑on experience working with both composite and aluminum structures

• 10+ years in a production environment building aerospace structures
• Experience creating or managing high‑volume production build environments
• Experience working in a startup environment
