Responsibilities- Research, test, and select appropriate material systems and processes for volume production of a large UAS
- Validate material properties through simulation and testing
- Design processes for structural component build and full‑scale assembly
- Validate production processes through simulation and test
- Support the structures design team in design for manufacturability
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years working in a production environment building structures
- Generated materials properties data for composite systems
- Hands‑on experience working with both composite and aluminum structures
- 10+ years in a production environment building aerospace structures
- Experience creating or managing high‑volume production build environments
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Meaningful equity stake in a high‑growth defense technology company
