A reputable secondary school with a highly academic Sixth Form cohort in Jersey is seeking an imaginative and rigorous English Teacher to join their faculty from January 2026.

• English Teacher required from January 2026.

• Seeking an experienced teacher to deliver A-Level English Language, Literature, or Media Studies

You will teach English across KS3 and KS4, with a significant focus on developing critical reading and analytical skills for students transitioning to A-Level. Your primary focus will be leading the delivery of a core subject at KS5, guiding students through sophisticated literary analysis and essay writing techniques.

• Qualified Teacher Status (
  QTS
  ) and a relevant English or Literature degree.
• Proven success in achieving high academic results in A-Level English or Media Studies.
• Expertise in preparing students for competitive university applications (UCAS).
• Strong ability to engage high-achieving students in intellectual debate and complex texts.
