Key Responsibilities- Assist students academically, socially, and behaviorally throughout the school day
- Provide 1:1 or small group support as directed by teachers and staff
- Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
- Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
- Support mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18 years
- TB test completed per district requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Clearances current or willingness to obtain before starting
- Preferred Experience:
- Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT highly desirable but not mandatory
- Reliable, patient, and a team player
