- Completed online application through edjoin.org - Current valid California teaching credential or 30-day Substitute Teaching Permit.

- Copy of unofficial transcripts (BA/BS degree; copies of front and back) - Copy of a negative Tuberculosis clearance (no more than 4 years old) - Resume - Verification of Sub-Clearinghouse Live Scan through Ventura County Office of Education (VCOE).

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CREDENTIAL AND NEED TO APPLY FOR A 30-DAY SUBSTITUTE TEACHER PERMIT, COPY AND PASTE THE FOLLOWING LINK TO YOUR BROWSER: https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). 30-day Sub Permits are to be renewed annually.
* If you have not completed the Sub-Clearinghouse Live Scan through VCOE, you can schedule an appointment through their website,  If you do not have a copy of your Sub-Clearinghouse Live Scan receipt please attach a Word document with the date you completed the Sub-Clearinghouse Live Scan and our office will verify your clearance.
* PLEASE NOTE, THE CERTIFICATE OF CLEARANCE FROM CTC DOES NOT SATISFY THE SUB-CLEARINGHOUSE LIVE SCAN REQUIREMENT
* With the passage of SB 153, the Basic Skills Requirement is no longer required effective 7/1/24. This allows for a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education to serve as a demonstration of basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Per the CTC regarding SB 153:
