DMS Sonography Instructor - Part Time

Charter College, an established career college with locations across the United States, is currently seeking talented, enthusiastic, and experienced part‑time Sonography DMS instructors to teach in a blended course environment at our Oxnard, CA campus.

The 10‑week courses average variable hours, including class and online time with students, Monday through Saturday options. Our faculty is committed to helping students achieve their academic and professional goals.

• Prepare a syllabus consistent with course descriptions for each class.
• Impress upon students the importance of exhibiting appropriate conduct in the workplace.
• Gather feedback to determine whether students understand each segment of the course.
• Maintain academic standards.
• Evaluate students’ progress regularly and share evaluations promptly.
• Be available to students with concerns.
• Review and be guided by student evaluations of instruction.
• Play an integral role in student retention efforts.
• Serve on faculty committees.
• Attend and participate in official college functions.
• Keep official transcripts of formal studies on file.
• Enroll in and participate in professional growth programs.

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years clinical experience.
• Maintain an ARDMS Certification and/or ARRT Certification.
• Must be within driving distance of the campus.

• Part‑time
• Hourly – non‑exempt – $37.00–$45.32 DOE (depending on experience)

• Day shift, variable hours – 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
• 4‑hour shift (day, evening).

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Oxnard, CA 93036 before starting work.
