Job Summary We are seeking a Temporary Accounting Analyst to support a short-term data reconciliation project. This role will focus on comparing and reconciling accounts receivable data between two systems—one at a detailed transactional level and one at a summarized level. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, Excel-savvy, and able to work independently to identify and resolve data discrepancies within a defined project timeframe.###

Key Responsibilities
* Reconcile accounts receivable data between two systems, including detailed invoice and payment data versus summarized balances
* Identify, analyze, and document discrepancies between datasets
* Use Excel to compare large datasets and support reconciliation efforts
* Apply formulas and tools such as XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF, IF/THEN logic, and other methods to analyze data
* Clearly communicate findings and reconciliation results to accounting and finance stakeholders
* Support timely and accurate completion of the reconciliation project###

Required Qualifications
* Advanced Excel skills are
** required**, including experience with:  + XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP  + Pivot tables  + SUMIF / COUNTIF  + IF/THEN logic and other data comparison formulas
* Experience working with large datasets and reconciling data between systems
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a short-term, project-based role
* Self-starter with an eager, can-do attitude and ability to learn quickly
* Ability to focus and remain productive in a loud or busy work environment###

Preferred Qualifications
* Background in accounting or finance
* Experience with accounts receivable data (invoices, payments, customer balances)
* Prior experience in a temporary, project-based, or contract role### Work Environment

* Limited training period; candidate must be comfortable ramping up quickly
