Senior Java Full Stack Engineer

Fullstack Java & Angular Engineer (Security-Focused) Hybrid 1 day per month onsite in Oxford Contract Were hiring a security-focused Fullstack Java Engineer (Java + Angular) to support the modernisation of high-availability, cloud-native digital services operating s role is centred around secure coding, scalable architecture, relational database design, and strong cross-team communication within a Dev Sec Ops  environment. What Youll Be Doing:
Designing and building secure, scalable microservices Developing high-performance REST APIs backed by Postgres / Oracle (advanced SQL, performance tuning, schema design) Modernising legacy systems into resilient, cloud-native architectures Embedding secure coding standards, identity and secrets management Supporting CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) Working closely with engineering, product, QA and platform teams

What Were Looking For :
Strong Java backend development Angular (or similar modern frontend framework) Strong relational database experience (Postgres / Oracle + SQL optimisation) Solid understanding of secure coding and application security
