Job SummaryJoin our dynamic team as a Log Cabin Installer and help bring Scandinavian craftsmanship to life. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the accurate assembly and installation of log cabins, ensuring each structure meets quality standards and client expectations. Your expertise will transform raw materials into attractive, durable homes built to stand the test of time. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, apply practical skills and contribute to the creation of comfortable retreats and functional living spaces.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret drawings, technical specifications and installation instructions to ensure accurate cabin assembly
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, levelling ground and setting foundation supports for stability
- Assemble logs and structural components using appropriate tools, techniques and safe working practices
- Ensure correct use and care of company equipment and tools
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete installations efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
- Inspect completed structures for quality assurance, checking alignment, stability and finishing details
- Maintain clear records of work undertaken, materials used and any issues encountered during installation
- Proven experience in carpentry, construction or log cabin installation (preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand construction plans
- Familiarity with tools including saws, drills, levels and measuring devices; experience with ohmmeters advantageous
- Strong physical fitness to lift heavy logs, work at height and operate outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise assembly and safety compliance
- Good communication skills for coordination with colleagues and clients
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required
- Monday to Friday with UK-wide travel
- Regular overnight stays during the working week

Due to continued growth, there are opportunities to progress quickly into a Team Leader role with full training provided. Salary increases to £40,000–£45,000 with company van and enhanced annual leave. Additional pathways include:
