Commercial Installation Electrician

Overview

Valoris Group is recruiting for an established commercial building services contractor delivering high-quality electrical installations across major projects in the South of England. This is a permanent role offering stability, structure, and strong earning potential for an experienced commercial electrician who wants consistent work without the uncertainty of contracting.

This is a pure installation role. No reactive maintenance. No heavy testing bias. Proper commercial project work.

Salary: £42,000–£45,000 basic + bonus + overtime.

Location:

South of England (projects based).

Employment Type:

Permanent. Includes a pension scheme. Realistic earnings £50,000–£55,000+ with a fully equipped van, fuel card, bonus scheme, and clear progression.

  • Time and a half after standard hours
  • Double time for weekends and night work
• Realistic total earnings: £50,000–£55,000+ per year

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am to 5:00pm

You will be working on commercial electrical installation projects across the South of England, delivering high-quality installations to specification and programme while maintaining excellent safety and workmanship standards.

• Full commercial electrical installations
• Installation of containment including tray, basket, trunking and conduit
• Power and lighting installation
• Distribution boards and final connections
• Supporting testing and commissioning
• Working from electrical drawings and technical specifications
• Maintaining strong health and safety standards
• Delivering high-quality workmanship on all projects

• Optional weekend work
• Out-of-hours callouts:
  • £50 per callout
  • Double door-to-door pay
• Working away when required:
  • £40 per night
  • Accommodation fully provided

• Fully qualified Electrician
• Strong commercial installation background
• ECS Gold Card preferred
• 18th Edition
• Ability to read and work from drawings
• Professional site attitude
• Full UK driving licence
