We are looking for reliable and professional Security Officers to provide essential cover during staff sickness, holidays, and other periods of absence. This is a vital role that ensures continuous protection of our clients’ premises and the smooth operation of their security services.

You will play a key part in maintaining safety, supporting site teams, and delivering exceptional customer service at all times. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high standards are essential.

About the Role Patrolling & Monitoring:

Conduct regular patrols (including mobile patrols where applicable) to detect signs of intrusion, damage, or suspicious activity.

Access Control:

Monitor entrances and exits, verify passes, and authorize visitors in line with site protocols.

Incident Response:

Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, following established procedures.

Customer Service:

Provide a professional, approachable presence and assist visitors, staff, and contractors courteously and efficiently.

Reporting:

Maintain accurate logs and incident reports for compliance and handover purposes.

Health & Safety:

Identify and report hazards, ensuring a safe environment at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid SIA licence

Driving Licence

5-year checkable work or education history

Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
