Tech Transfer Scientist – Oxford Nanopore Technologies

It is used to understand and characterise biology, from human cancers to plant disease to viral genomes and entire environments.

You will join the Tech Transfer team and work on the pilot production lines of new sequencing platforms. Your role will involve preparing these platforms for release into production and identifying and addressing  before launch. You will also support ongoing production lines of established product lines, helping to introduce iterative improvements across our product range.

• Run pilot production lines for new sequencing platforms to prepare for production release.
• Identify and assess improvement opportunities on all new platform developments.
• Address identified improvement areas before the product is released to the production team.
• Support production lines of established product lines to introduce iterative improvements across the product range.

• Degree in a suitable scientific subject with relevant lab‑based skills and experience.
• Very good communicator, enthusiastic, willing to learn.
• Motivated to achieve results and able to meet deadlines.
