Field Sales Manager - Midlands & South of England

Up to £DOE (incl. car allowance) + bonus + benefits
A global leader in particular protective packaging solutions, supplying high-performance flexible packaging to industrial markets worldwide, alongside their sister company.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for a commercially driven Field Sales Manager to strengthen our Sales team and drive regional growth across the Midlands and South of England.
🔍 The RoleThis is a high-impact, autonomous field sales role focused on new business development, account growth, and long-term customer partnerships within industrial and manufacturing sectors. You'll manage your own territory, delivering consultative, technically led solutions while representing the business professionally in the market.
💼 Key Responsibilities- Drive new business and sustainable revenue growth within your region
- Identify, prospect, and convert new customers through structured field activity
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and technical discussions
- Deliver tailored, consultative sales solutions aligned to customer needs
- Build strong, trust-based customer relationships
- Manage pricing, negotiations, and sales pipelines to achieve profitable outcomes
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide forecasts, reports, and market insight
- Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience
- Minimum 5 years' B2B sales experience within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Technically minded with the ability to understand customer processes and solutions
- Experienced in managing a field-based sales territory
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
- Packaging experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Field-based role covering the Midlands & South of England
- Monthly visits to the site for training and collaboration
- Occasional international travel may be required
