We are looking for a motivated Assistant Chemist to support laboratory research focused on advanced materials for an alternative energy technology. This is a lab-based role
, ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on experimental work and contributing to cutting‑edge technology development.
- Carry out routine and exploratory lab experiments.
- Maintain strict safety standards; complete COSHH and risk assessments.
- Keep accurate electronic and written experimental records.
- Communicate results clearly within the team.
- Maintain an organised, clean laboratory workspace.
- Degree in chemistry/applied science or experience in experimental planning.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and record‑keeping skills.
- Good computer skills and willingness to learn new techniques.
