Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Chemical Biology and Bioengineering to work under the supervision of Professor Yimon Aye for a period of up to 12 months. The project further leverages state-of-the-art chemical biology tools in unison with advanced genetic and biochemical concepts and models, including zebrafish and mice. The project is funded by European Research Council Advanced (ERC‑AdG) Grant.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Bioengineering, or a related area (or be close to completion) prior to taking up the appointment. The research requires experience and a supple mindset in interdisciplinary research. Expected background skillsets include, for instance, small‑molecule chemistry, biochemistry, cell‑based, and model organism studies. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities.

This involves small‑scale project management, coordinating multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
