The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of a group of small animal practices in Oxford and the surrounding areas
, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon seeking flexibility, variety and long‑term stability.
This role is ideal for vets who enjoy working across different practices, collaborating with multiple teams and managing a diverse caseload, while benefiting from the security of permanent employment.
The RoleWorking across several local practices, you will:
Gain exposure to a wide range of cases and clinical environments
Work with different teams while following a planned and structured rota
Enjoy variety and professional development without sacrificing work‑life balance
Working pattern:
Full‑time role working 4 days per week
1 in 6 weekends
Part‑time options available
Rota planned in advance, supporting local practices close to your home
This position also offers the opportunity to influence and support other clinicians
, while continuing to build your own experience and leadership skills.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced vet who:
Enjoys small animal practice
Is confident working sole charge when required
Can perform routine surgeries independently
Has a positive, adaptable approach and enjoys team‑based working

Qualified Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS registered or eligible for registration
