Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Custodian. This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in custodial services.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in various facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with setting up and taking down furniture for events and meetings.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Perform additional custodial duties as assigned by supervisors.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage is preferred.
