Legal Counsel - 12 month fixed term contract

An international consumer business is looking to hire a commercial lawyer to join its established UK legal team.

This is a broad, high-exposure role supporting a fast-paced, creative business with a strong consumer and marketing focus. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, commercial and operations acting as a trusted legal business partner.

The Role

You’ll provide day-to-day legal support across a wide range of commercial and marketing matters, with particular emphasis on:

• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across procurement, hospitality and operations
• Advising on marketing, advertising and digital campaigns, including promotions and partnerships
• Supporting IP matters, influencer agreements, creative services and brand collaborations
• Advising on PR, partnerships and private client initiatives
• Supporting data protection and membership programmes, including T&Cs and compliance
• Assisting with disputes, legal process improvements and legal training initiatives
• Working closely with external counsel where required

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ PQE (law firm and/or in-house)
• Strong experience in commercial contracts and/or marketing law
• Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-driven
• Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-moving business
• Enjoys collaboration and being close to the commercial decision-making
