The AI Citizen Development Lead will help Sophos scale secure, intelligent, and enterprise‑grade business operations through modern AI‑powered automation. This role goes beyond traditional workflow automation to design and implement AI‑driven solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, agentic AI patterns, and advanced Power Platform capabilities.

You will architect and deliver secure automation and AI solutions across Salesforce, EDI, order booking, and ERP ecosystems, leveraging enterprise AI architecture patterns such as RAG, orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, and governed data access models.

Working within the finance organization, you will work closely with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, and IT, and you will ensure AI solutions are scalable, compliant, explainable, and aligned with Sophos’ cybersecurity‑first principle s.

• Partner with business teams to identify automation opportunities, define clear requirements, and deliver solutions that improve internal and partner experiences.
• Drive automations that shorten order‑to‑cash cycles, reduce manual touchpoints, and improve revenue accuracy and leakage prevention.
• Measure, report, and communicate impact and ROI; gather stakeholder feedback and iterate to continuously improve solutions.
• Test, deploy, and support automations in production; perform root‑cause analysis and implement continuous improvements and incident remediation.
• Lead end‑to‑end solution design and implementation using approved low‑code/no‑code platforms across Salesforce, EDI integrations, SAP ERP, and other business applications.
• Architect and deploy advanced AI architecture patterns—including RAG, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and secure API/tool integrations—ensuring scalability, observability, and governed data access.
• Establish and enforce enterprise‑grade governness and operational excellence: including testing, release management, monitoring, logging, access controls, and auditability for all automation and AI solutions.

• 3+ years of experience building enterprise‑scale solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and Microsoft Fabric in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to establish enterprise AI governance models, including secure data access and role‑based controls.
• Strong systems‑thinking mindset, with the ability to map complex business processes into robust, maintainable technical architectures that span multiple systems.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders and create clear requirements, designs, and impact reports.
