The Paid Media Lead is responsible for leading and executing the School's paid media strategy across search, social, display and programmatic channels. Acting as a subject matter expert in digital advertising, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, shaping campaign structure, optimisation approaches and budget allocation to maximise ROI and support recruitment objectives, while providing expert guidance and data-led insight to colleagues, agency partners and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of a multi-channel paid media strategy across platforms including Google Ads, Bing Ads, META, Linked In and programmatic/display networks to increase brand visibility and drive conversions.
  • Develop paid media budget planning and optimisation, making autonomous decisions on spend allocation to maximise ROI and ensure investment is focused on high-performing channels and strategic priorities.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery and optimisation of paid media campaigns, applying advanced techniques such as A/B testing, bidding strategies and audience segmentation to meet or exceed performance KPIs.
  • Act as a paid media subject matter expert, providing strategic advice, insight and best-practice guidance to programme teams, senior stakeholders, agency partners and colleagues across Digital Marketing.
  • Produce and present clear, data-led performance reporting and recommendations, translating complex analytics into actionable insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements

You will be an experienced paid media professional with extensive hands‑on experience delivering and optimising performance‑driven campaigns across search, social and display platforms such as Google Ads, META and Linked In. You will bring strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex performance data and translate insight into clear, actionable recommendations for a range of stakeholders. Confident working with autonomy, you will have a proven track record of managing and optimising digital marketing budgets to maximise ROI, while collaborating effectively with programme teams, agencies and senior colleagues.
