The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Learning, Talent & Engagement Manager (Projects) to lead and implement a portfolio of initiatives that support and drive skills, performance and talent management across our UK and international teams at Oxfam GB.

This is a key role within People & Culture, accelerating service delivery, improvement, and leading end‑to‑end projects across culture change, learning, talent management and engagement. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, managers and external partners to shape organisational change plans, workforce strategies, build capability, and deliver innovative LT&E solutions that support our people, operational effectiveness and organisational goals.

As part of the new LT&E team you’ll work across Oxfam GB’s shops, UK offices and international teams, driving skills‑based approaches, procuring and programme managing high‑quality learning solutions, coaching senior leaders and HRBPs, implementing inclusive talent management, modernising engagement practice, and, innovating and digitising in areas such as talent insight and performance management.

From designing frameworks, playbooks and tools, to leading end‑to‑end project delivery and stakeholder engagement, you’ll play a key role in enabling transformational long‑lasting change and building capability across the organisation.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a candidate who can work across the LTE team, the People and Culture Division and wider organisation, to innovate, engage and drive continuous improvement across our LT&E portfolio.

An Ideal Candidate For

The Role Will Also Have
  • Significant generalist and/or strategic Learning, Talent and Engagement Partnership experience gained within a large organisation and with multiple stakeholders.
  • People & Culture expertise across a broad spectrum of Recruitment, Talent Management, Reward, HR transactional operations activity, training and development, with an understanding of employment law principles.
  • Significant project and supplier management experience.
  • Third party learning, talent and engagement proposition identification, management and design to deployment experience, which would include procurement experience.
  • Up to date knowledge of current HR thinking and trends.
  • Experienced in contributing to medium‑term strategic and operational business planning, with a track record of delivery.
  • Experienced in managing and designing complex change management.
  • Analytical skills, including using data to inform decision making and being able to weigh up and take decisions when there are unknowns.
  • Outcome focused with a value‑added mindset.
  • Experience of identifying the root cause of problems using an evidence‑based approach, acting as a stakeholder partner to influence positive outcomes.
