Overview
As a Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality radiotherapy treatment using advanced techniques like SA , VMAT, DIBH, TBI and SRS.
You'll work with an experienced team in a friendly environment where your development and well-being matter. Our department is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including Varian Halcyons, Varian True Beams incl. 6
DoF, RGSC and SRS capability, Siemens CT GoSims, and HDR all networked by ARIA. We are a multi-site centre with satellites in Swindon & Milton Keynes - 3 sites, 1 team!

Responsibilities- Join us as a senior member of the team of Radiographers covering all sections of the department including mould room, CT scanning, virtual simulation and contouring, delivery of a wide range of both simple & complex treatment and IGRT techniques.
- Support the team leader in the day-to-day management of their assigned pre-treatment or treatment work area, assisting in the organisation and management of the clinical workload.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team.
- Assist with the day-to-day organisation of a treatment unit to ensure an efficient service is delivered and workload targets are achieved.
- Supervise, support & teach junior members of staff and students.
