Full time 37.5 hours per week.
Working 4 days per week, 8am – 6pm plus on-call over weekends and evenings
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated radiographer to complement our friendly, social, and dynamic Radiology team here at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for you to further your clinical experience within the field of MSK imaging.
Responsibilities- Work across the department which carries out general and specialist examinations in orthopaedic radiology.
- Rotate to general x-ray, fluoroscopy and theatres.
- This band 6 post will involve training in DDH ultrasound and specialist research examinations.
- Take a lead role within designated areas of the department and act as Duty Radiographer.
- Participate in the on-call rota for evenings and weekends.
- As a senior radiographer, assist the department superintendents with supervision of staff and students, provide training, and encourage high professional and technical standards by personal example and constructive supervision.
- Develop expertise in orthopaedic radiography and progress within a supportive department.
