Position: Non-Executive Director (NED) Designate Chair of the Quality Committee

Position Overview

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is partnering with Nurole to appoint a Non‑Executive Director who will become Chair of the Quality Committee from April 2026. This part‑time role (approximately 3 days per month) offers an opportunity to shape quality, safety and patient experience across a large and complex NHS organisation.

Responsibilities

As a Non‑Executive Director, you will share collective responsibility for the leadership, performance and governance of the Trust, working with executive and non‑executive colleagues. You will provide independent oversight, constructive challenge and strategic support to ensure safe, effective and compassionate care.

As Chair of the Quality Committee, you will lead the Board’s assurance on quality, safety and clinical governance, overseeing continuous improvement and learning. You will work closely with executive leaders to embed quality considerations throughout strategy, operational delivery and system partnerships.
