Job overviewWe are seeking a radiographer or technologist with significant experience in NM and PET/CT, who will contribute positively and enthusiastically to the professional running and future development of the department. The post is suitable for a radiographer or technologist who is keen to experience a wide range of specialties and is keen to support and develop the 7‑day service whilst working with state of the art equipment and optimising image techniques across clinical and research fields.
The role will involve work with PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine across the OUH Trust, and will include weekend working on a rotational basis.

The PET/CT department provides imaging services to a large catchment area across the south of England, with a strong focus on oncology, radiotherapy, breast, renal, urology, transplantation and infectious disease imaging. The service also supports the latest radiopharmaceutical therapies in collaboration with oncology and medical physics teams.
In addition, the successful candidate will take an active role in all aspects of the service, including clinical delivery, training, research support for over 300 trials and continuous service improvement.
Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesThe role is a fixed‑term (12 months) contract covering maternity leave, based in the Cancer and Haematology Centre. You will be expected to work across multiple radiology sites, delivering quality imaging in both adult and paediatric populations, and supporting our research commitments.
Person specificationApplicant should hold UK registration as a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine practitioner. Registration with the Royal College of Radiologists or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow is expected.
