Job Title: Echocardiographer
Banding: Band 7
Location: Oxford
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £50 - £60 per hour
Duration: 3 months

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographer to join our esteemed client in Oxford. This role involves performing specialist echocardiography assessments, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiologists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires expertise in cardiac ultrasound imaging, including echo cardiographic assessments, Doppler studies, and cardiac function analysis. The echocardiographer will be responsible for interpreting echocardiograms, assisting in diagnostic procedures, and providing specialist advice to clinicians. Additionally, maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with BSE accreditation standards are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Experience
  • BSE or EACVI accreditation (preferred).
  • Degree in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in echocardiography and cardiac diagnostics.
  • Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
