At Kellogg College, our Finance Office plays a vital role in supporting the College community, enabling academic, operational and student activity through effective and responsible financial management. We’re looking for a friendly, collaborative and team-oriented Finance Assistant to join the Finance Office, working as part of a supportive and professional team. If you are detail-focused, enjoy working collaboratively, and value contributing to a community-centred environment, we would be pleased to hear from you.
The roleAs a key member of the Accounts Payable process, you will:
- Process and record financial transactions
- Maintain financial records and update systems, checking for errors and omissions
- Respond to queries in a timely manner, escalating where appropriate
- Support continuous improvement by identifying operation inefficiencies or issues, and communicating these to senior colleagues
- Check payments documents in line with Financial Regulations, policies and processes and any other requirements as appropriate.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Good IT Skills, with the ability to learn quickly
- The ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

£28,437 to £32,108 per annum (inclusive of Oxford University Weighting) (Grade
