Group Management Accountant
Oxford (Hybrid/Flexible Working)
Salary £45k to £55k plus excellent benefits
I’m supporting a rapidly expanding business with multiple offices across Central and Southern England in their search for a Group Management Accountant
. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Oxford with hybrid and flexible working. You’ll work closely with the Group Financial Controller and gain exposure to acquisitions and private-equity reporting. Some travel to regional offices will be required.
- Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping with monthly management accounts and reporting to meet the required deadlines.
- Help manage the day-to-day bookkeeping.
- Visit offices within different geographical regions to ensure KPI’s are being achieved and assist with their management accounts where necessary.
- Prepare and process payments for authorization.
- Management of bank accounts including reconciliations.
- Carry out quarterly VAT returns for review.
- Assist with year-end audit procedures.
- Responsibility for supporting the full range of finance department activities, including accounts payable and credit control.
- Support the Group Financial Controller with any ad hoc tasks as required.
- 3+ years’ UK experience in practice or industry
- ACCA/ACA part-qualified or fully qualified
- Strong experience producing management accounts in a multi-entity environment
- Confident with month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel and strong systems knowledge
- High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
- Organised, analytical, proactive, and comfortable with deadlines
- A strong team player with a continuous improvement mindset
