Consultancy / MEP/ Building Services / Sustainability Engineer / Sustainability Consultant / Building Physics

This role is to join a specialist practice of building services consultants, providing complex mechanical and electrical solutions with a strong emphasis on sustainability. Projects include healthcare, education, transport infrastructure, heritage, commercial and hospitality.

This role would suit a client facing engineer who is looking to work in a collaborative environment, it’s to join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers seeing projects through from inception to handover. Given the opportunities available to progress it would suit an engineer with aspiration to further their career.

Responsibilities

* Feasibility studies

* Report writing for Planning submissions

* Preparation of thermal modelling/energy assessments

* Project design

* Specifications

* Guiding more junior engineers

Skills and Qualities

* A degree in a relevant subject

* Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in building services design

* Residential and education projects form a major part of our portfolio and as such a good knowledge of new regulations including Part L and Part O would be preferred together with DFE standards

* Working knowledge of IES Software, Level 5 Energy Assessor and knowledge of SAP
10 and Net zero requirements

* Own transport and driving license (desired but not essential)

* Experience of design and modelling software would be beneficial although not essential as full training will be provided
