- Review and sign off on process piping installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Conduct mechanical inspections, including dimensional checks, material verification, and pressure testing of process systems.
- Collaborate with the project engineering and construction teams to resolve mechanical quality issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, approvals, and non-conformance reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on design, fabrication, and installation processes.
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements on site.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to mechanical quality and compliance.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in mechanical quality inspection, preferably in process piping or mechanical packages for life sciences, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of piping codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASME B31.3, GMP standards).
- Experience with inspection tools, measurement devices, and documentation procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to enforce quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work on-site and engage directly with construction and project teams.
