Environmental Sustainability Advisor - Civil Engineering
LOCATION: Oxford
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Environmental Sustainability Advisor to support environmental and sustainability compliance and initiatives on our construction projects. This role plays a critical part in shaping responsible practices, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement aligned with corporate targets and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Construction Environmental Management Plans and associated documentation
- Provide proactive support and expert advice to operations teams on sustainability matters
- Collect, analyse, and report environmental data including waste, fuel, and procurement metrics
- Conduct regular compliance audits and support resolution of environmental incidents
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure alignment with environmental control standards
- Support applications for permits, licences, and exemptions, and manage de‑registrations
- Assist in site, regional and divisional performance reviews across sustainability domains
