Based in Oxfordshire, DTR is at the forefront of chemical recycling, turning hard-to-process plastics into high value feed stocks for new plastic production and other chemicals. Our mission is clear: drive the global transition to a circular economy and reduce the environmental impact of plastic waste.

As our Senior Process Engineer, you’ll be the key technical interface between DTR, clients, and EPC contractors. You won’t just deliver designs, you’ll help shape bespoke solutions that meet each client’s ambitions and operational goals. This is a chance to combine deep process engineering with real world impact, working at the heart of commercial and pilot projects across Europe.

• Leading Process Design: From conceptual studies to FEED and EPC, you’ll own and deliver high-quality engineering solutions from end-to-end.
• Collaborating with Experts: Work with external FEED/EPC contractors, engage in technical discussions, and ensure the highest standards in design and safety.
• Optimising Operations: Support and enhance the operation of pilot, demonstration, and commercial-scale facilities, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.

• BEng/MEng in Chemical Engineering, ideally Chartered or working towards it.
• Hands on experience in process engineering from development through to operations.
• Expertise in refinery, petrochemical, or chemical recycling design and familiarity with industry standards.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly.
• Bonus points for experience with simulation tools, project management, or team leadership.

DTR’s first fully funded commercial project is scheduled to commence in Q2 2026 in Northern Europe. Due to commercial sensitivity, details are limited at this stage, but you’ll be joining at the technical heart of this high impact initiative, influencing bespoke solutions for clients and supporting the operational roll-out.
