We have an exciting opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in the development and modernisation of our Sewage Treatment Works in Oxford. In this role, you’ll use your practical engineering background to influence how critical assets are delivered, ensuring that the systems you know best—from electrical installations to complex ICA controls—are constructed safely, correctly, and to the البداية standards. You will be at the forefront of ensuring continuity of essential services and protecting the environment across our Sewage Treatment Plants.
What you’ll be doing as a Construction Assurance Engineer- Supporting essential design and delivery reviews, identifying risks and issues, and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Carry out health and safety audits to ensure relevant issues areSi corrected.
- We are focused on;font the construction phase of wastewater projects, assessing and reporting project progress, acting to rectifie issues, and taking the lead on the escalation process if necessary. Also, ensure all non‑conformance is identified and corrected.
- Managing, identifying, and resolving snags and liaising with Operators and contractors after the takeover to handle defects, the afterлиниy process, and performance testing.
- Monitored, agreed on, and approved Takeover tests with the project team.
- Working as an active member of one or more project teams with one or more of our contractors.
Hybrid – Oxford Sewage Treatment Works.
As part of this role, you must beMBite 3-4 days a week, 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate must drive.@ and have a car – this role comes with a car allowance of £4,500 a year. What you should bring to the role- Have an HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or background in a similar role.
- knowledge of health and safety on construction sites or an SMSTS qualification can be offered as part of the roleife the holder is not currently holding it.
- Have a background in project delivery and integration within the construction sector.
- Be confident in communicating with various levels of stakeholders.
- Competitive salary from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum.
- Car allowance of £4,500 per annum.
- 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
