What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a motivated and creative EAL Teaching Assistant to be part of our forward-thinking team in our vibrant and diverse two-form entry school. We are seeking an experienced colleague who believes in the achievement of all pupils. This belief in inclusive education is central to our Catholic ethos, where every child is welcomed, protected and loved. Candidates must be able to build good relationships with children and work flexibly and effectively as part of our friendly team.

The role involves establishing and developing consistent relationships with children and families to share successes and achievements. The role requires supporting pupils with EAL. We are a very diverse school with over 50 languages spoken and a very high success rate for our EAL pupils.

This post does not require applicants to be Catholic, but the candidate will be willing to embrace the ethos of our school. The best candidate will be selected. As an inclusive school, we welcome applications from everyone!

We have a dedicated teaching and support team who think outside of the box to engage and support pupils.
