The successful Year 1 teacher will play a key role in delivering inspiring lessons and supporting young learners as they progress through this important stage of their education.

The appointed Year 1 teacher will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and support strong academic progress. You will work collaboratively with a team of experienced teachers and teaching assistants who are committed to delivering high-quality education and ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel motivated to learn.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress while providing constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.

The ideal Year 1 teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within Key Stage
1. Strong classroom management, creativity in lesson planning, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners are essential for this Year 1 teacher position.
