Overview
The post holder is responsible to the Medical Education Manager for managing and supporting medical education programmes within the Trust in the areas of Postgraduate Medical and the Education Centre. There are currently over 900 resident doctors in training, with 150 of them being in year 2 of the Foundation Programme.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful post holder will be responsible for the administration of the Year 2 Foundation Training Programme for Resident Doctors in Training and to support the Joint Foundation Year 1 and 2 Core Teaching.
The Medical Education Administrator will organise, advise, plan, manage and support the following areas of the training programme where relevant to that programme.
The post holder will also act as the Committee Administrator for the Foundation Education Governance Group.
The Medical Education Administrator will organise, support and participate in the bi-annual reviews and final annual review of training (ARCPs) for year 1 and year 2 foundation doctors.
