Supporting Young People Aged 16–25 with PMLD, Complex Needs & SEMH

? Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs in a calm, nurturing environment?

We are looking for a kind, enthusiastic and committed practitioner to support learners aged 16–25 with PMLD, complex needs and SEMH in our farm-based, outdoor learning provision
.

What the Role Involves

You will work alongside a supportive team to create meaningful, alternative learning experiences that help young people feel safe, engaged and valued.

This includes:

Supporting learners through sensory-based and practical activities

Using the farm, animals and outdoor spaces as learning tools

Encouraging communication, independence and confidence

Supporting emotional wellbeing and regulation

Helping learners access education in ways that suit their individual needs

Supporting personal care and physical needs where required

Who This Role Is For

This role would suit someone who is:

Patient, calm and compassionate

Creative and adaptable in their approach to learning

Comfortable working outdoors in a farm environment

Passionate about inclusive, person-centred support

Keen to build strong, trusting relationships with young people

Previous experience with SEN is welcomed but not essential — training and guidance will be provided.
