Through this combination of general and specific topics, students will gain insight into how engineers design innovative systems that drive modern technology, including sustainable energy solutions, infrastructure, and drone technology.

You will teach the core principles of drone technology, including motors, ESCs, propellers, batteries, flight controllers, and GPS courses. You will also run hands‑on workshops on assembling drones, soldering, configuring flight controllers, and supervising safe flight practice. You will be responsible for delivering a holistic engineering experience, from broad concepts to specialized topics like drones, while working closely with Teaching Assistant (TAs) to ensure smooth execution of workshops.

A valid Flyer is required for this position and must be provided prior to the start of the programme.

You will be provided with a full course handbook and approximately 80% of the course content, with 20% left flexible for you to adapt based on your expertise and teaching style. • Deliver a structured 9 teaching days programme: Delivering clear and engaging 1.5 hours morning lectures. Lecture topics will include general engineering principles (mechanical, electrical, civil, aerospace, software, and chemical engineering), along with specialized drone topics (motors, ESCs, flight dynamics, flight controllers, GPS courses, and UAV applications).
  • Lead hands‑on engineering workshops: Facilitate 2‑hour practical workshops each afternoon. Workshop activities will cover both general engineering concepts (such as mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and aerospace design) and drone technology (such as drone assembly, firmware installation, flight controller calibration, and flight practice). You will guide students step‑by‑step, oversee safe tool use, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide personalized feedback. Teaching Assistants (TAs) will assist, and you will be responsible for training and instructing them.
