Recruitment Partner: Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a specialist education provision in Headington, Oxford, to recruit a dedicated EYFS Teacher or SEN Primary Teacher
. This role involves supporting young people aged 16+ with Special Educational Needs
, including autism
, to develop life skills, independence, and functional learning skills
.

You will work within a small, supportive setting delivering a highly personalised curriculum that prioritises communication, emotional regulation, independence, and real-world learning
.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Support learners to develop life skills, independence, and functional skills
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet sensory, communication, and behavioural needs
  • Foster a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
  • Track progress and contribute to individual learning plans

We are looking for a teacher who is:

  • Qualified (QTS/QTLS preferred, but experienced unqualified teachers may be considered)
  • Experienced in SEN, autism, or complex needs
  • Confident supporting older learners (16+) with developmental and life-skills-based learning
  • Patient, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education
  • Comfortable delivering a curriculum focused on life skills rather than traditional academics

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
