Role - Functional Skills Tutor

Location - Reading

Rate - 25 - 35 per hour

Subject Functional skills

Start date - ASAP

• Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons in functional skills subjects such as English and mathematics.
• Tailor your teaching approach to accommodate the diverse needs and learning styles of your students.
• Assess individual learners' strengths and areas for improvement to develop personalised learning plans.
• Inspire and motivate students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Help students achieve their goals and contribute to an effective and enriching educational experience.

• Teaching Qualifications - minimum Level 3 Education & Training or above and hold a Level 2/GCSE qualification in English and Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Functional skills in English and Mathematics.
• Excellent time management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with students of all backgrounds.
• Creative approach to teaching
• Passion for helping others succeed and a commitment to inclusive education
