AI Hub Communications & Engagement Officer

We are looking for an experienced Communications & Engagement Officer to support our operational team on a temporary basis during a period of increased activity. The Communications & Engagement Officer will be responsible for supporting multiple communications channels and creating and distributing high-quality content to promote the AI Hubs activities and impact.

• Help to oversee and develop the Hubs digital communications channels, including the website, You Tube, and social media platforms.
• Support the production of a diverse range of communications materials, including newsletters, articles, blog posts, social media content, and video assets.
• Create promotional materials and core messaging for Hub events and initiatives.

• Extensive experience delivering communications across multiple channels and platforms.
• Expertise in website management and in producing high-impact digital content, including web copy, newsletters, and social media posts.
• Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail, and a proven ability to translate complex subject matter into clear, engaging content for non-specialist audiences.
• Excellent organisational skills to effectively manage time and workload with an outcome focused approach.

• Proficiency with Word Press and Mailchimp, and experience using Clipchamp or comparable video editing tools to produce high-quality digital content.
• Experience designing promotional materials, including use of platforms such as Canva.

Knowledge of, or interest in, artificial intelligence and/or mathematics.
