Overview
This sole charge role is for two days a week. Ideally Tuesday and Wednesdays and the hours are 7.30am – 7pm. These happy children are ages one year old and 7 and 8 years old. A typical day would include getting the children’s breakfast, taking the older children to school, then looking after the one-year-old during the day. This will include going on outings and baby/toddler groups, engaging through age-appropriate activities, then after lunch and a nap, the older children would need picking up from school (very close by – walkable) at 4-4.15pm.
Then all the children would need their tea and bath before their parents arrive home by 6.30/7pm, for the bedtime routine. They also have a small dog who is very friendly and would appreciate a little walk after the school drop off in the mornings. Salary is £18-£20 gross an hour ( £21,528- £23,920 gross per annum for the two days ).

- Prepare and serve tea; oversee bath time and bedtime routine.
- Walk the family dog after school drop-off in the mornings.
- Minimum 2+ years working with children of the same ages in a similar role.
- Childcare qualifications essential.
- Training: DBS in update service and a 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain; minimum of 2 professional referees who are immediately contactable (one must be current/last employer).
