Inside Sales Director, EMEAI at Oxford Nanopore Technologies.

The technology is used in DNA/RNA sequencing and other applications including proteins and a range of biological and environmental analyses. The company serves customers in more than 125 countries.

Reporting to the VP Sales EMEAI, the Inside Sales Director will lead and mentor the Inside Sales team, shape and execute the inside sales strategy, and collaborate closely with customer services and technical support. This is a hybrid role based in Oxford with regular travel.

• Develop and implement a distinct vision and sales plan.
• Lead and motivate the Inside Sales team to achieve targets through lead conversion.
• Communicate the agreed sales vision and targets to teams.
• Ensure teams use company processes, tools and resources optimally.
• Mentor and coach the team to build a high-performing organization.
• Involve people and teams in new ways to achieve goals.
• Encourage qualified risk-taking when necessary.

• PhD or MSc, or equivalent experience within genomics, genetics, or related field.
• Proven inside sales leadership, especially within the genetics market.
• Outstanding communication and people skills.
• Experience defining and implementing sales strategies.
• Ability to anticipate market trends.
• Strong critical thinking and vision-setting abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Experience developing high-performing teams.
• Dedication to achieving ambitious business objectives.
• Willingness to travel to Oxford regularly.
