We have an opportunity for a organised and effective legal administrator to join a highly ranked national law firm in their Oxford offices. You should have a good level of IT knowledge including Case Management Systems, Databases and MS Office applications.

The ideal candidate will have high standards in their work, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to use their initiative and prioritise their daily tasks. You should be able to meet deadlines and organise your workload accordingly. This job is varied and would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment. You will have a proactive attitude and be a valuable member of the support team.

Responsibilities
  • You will be the initial contact for telephone enquiries, dealing with clients and colleagues.
  • Creating and uploading documents to data rooms
  • Carrying out conflict searches
  • Diary Management - schedule and confirm meetings
  • Ensure files are accurately managed and stored, opening and closing files on CMS
  • Data Entry and time recording tasks
  • Managing emails
  • Assisting with billing processes
  • Compliance with policies and procedures for the firm and department.
  • Dealing with the post, couriers and deliveries
Qualifications / Skills
  • Previous administration experience within the legal sector or other professional services is required, along with a positive attitude, confidence and enthusiasm
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional in communication with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to multitask, managing various matters with differing deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office:
    Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, also knowledge of CMS/databases.
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
