Job Summary

The clinical staff nurse has successfully completed all aspects of orientation to all roles/responsibilities in that specific clinical unit. Is able to conduct basic patient assessment, identify patient problems, develop goals and select interventions to achieve them; evaluates effectiveness of nursing plan of care; detects and documents significant changes in a patient's condition. Administers medications accurately and safely monitoring untoward effects, reactions, therapeutic responses, toxicity and incompatibilities.

Is beginning to understand the particular demands of an illness and anticipates patient care needs.

Qualifications-Minimum

1-2 years of clinical experience in a an acute care hospital preferred

Education

2 year/Associates Degree; BSN preferred

Experience

Experience in the perinatal field is preferred.

License

Current Ohio RN licensure

Hours

3 PRN as needed (Must be available to work night shifts and weekends)
